• Sent securely to OpenAI's Whisper service for speech-to-text transcription
• Processed to extract feeding, sleep, and care information
• Deleted immediately after transcription is complete
• Never stored on our servers
• Only used for the specific purpose of creating your baby log entries

Transcribed Text

The text version of your voice recordings is sent to OpenAI's GPT-4o to structure the information into organized log entries. This text may include:

• Times and descriptions of feedings, sleep, diaper changes
• Amounts (ounces, duration)
• Notes and observations about your baby
• Names or identifiers you mention

This text is processed solely to create structured log entries and is not stored by us or used for any other purpose.

Baby Profile Information

Information you enter about your baby (name, birth date, etc.) is:

• Stored only on your device
• Never transmitted to our servers or third parties
• Only accessible to you and other users you explicitly share your device with

Historical Log Data

Your baby's daily logs, patterns, and historical tracking data are:

• Stored exclusively on your device using iOS's secure data storage
• Never uploaded to cloud services or external servers
• Only accessible through the BabyOps app on your device

Technical Information

We collect minimal technical information necessary for the app to function:

• iOS version (to ensure compatibility)
• App version (for troubleshooting)
• Error logs (only when crashes occur, and only if you choose to send them)

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Location data
• Contact lists
• Photos (unless you explicitly attach them to entries)
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
• Advertising identifiers
• Social media accounts or profiles

How We Use Your Information

Voice recordings are used exclusively to:

• Convert speech to text using OpenAI's Whisper service
• Structure information into baby log entries using OpenAI's GPT-4o

Children's Privacy

BabyOps is designed for parents and caregivers to track information about their babies and children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

The app is intended for use by parents and caregivers who are responsible for the information they enter about their children. Parents have full control over what information is recorded and how it's used.
