The Alliance in Forever
Four old nations and one new arrival. In Forever the Alliance can field all nine classes for the first time, because dwarves can now be shaman.
Blizzard describes the Alliance as "bound together by proud traditions of nobility, honor, faith, justice, and sacrifice".
Three things are new on this side. Humans can be hunters, gnomes can be priests and dwarves can be shaman. The third matters most, because it gives the Alliance a class it has never had.
The fifth race is new altogether. The High Order Skyborne are, in Blizzard's words, descendants of ancient scholars who have been called back to Azeroth to recover the knowledge they lost. The Skyborne exist on both factions, and you choose a side when you make one.

More on the Skyborne: both versions, what the traits do and how to get one
Every race now has four racial traits, two you press and two that are always on. They are listed with each race above. Blizzard says several were reworked for Forever.
Your faction decides who you can play with. Blizzard has said Horde and Alliance players still cannot group together in Forever, so choose the side your friends are on first and the race second.
