Momentary ("the App") is a workout notebook that lets you record voice moments on Apple Watch and uses AI to structure your training data.
- No account required.
- No analytics or tracking.
- Audio recordings stay on your device.
- AI features are opt-in and require your own API key.
Audio & Transcription
Voice moments are recorded on your Apple Watch and transferred to your paired iPhone. Transcription is performed entirely on-device using WhisperKit. Your audio recordings are never uploaded to any server.
AI Processing
If you provide an OpenAI API key in Settings, transcript text (not audio) is sent to OpenAI to generate structured workout logs, social content, and training insights. Without an API key, no data leaves your device. Your API key is stored securely in the iOS Keychain.
HealthKit
Momentary writes workout data to Apple Health as strength training sessions. HealthKit data stays on your device and is governed by Apple's privacy policies.
Data Storage
All workout data, audio recordings, and transcriptions are stored locally in the app's sandbox on your device.
Data Sharing
Momentary does not include third-party SDKs, advertising frameworks, or analytics services. Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.

Used to write strength training sessions to Apple Health.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date on this page.
