A list of twenty things the writers wish someone had told them, including that murlocs are evil.
Forever says
Twenty-two years on, we can't fault a single one.
Near the front of the book is a numbered list of things its writers learned the hard way. The first is that you can't put a space in your character's name. The thirteenth is a three-word warning about murlocs. The last tells you to stop reading and go play.
We'll check the mechanical ones, like names, when the live game opens. The murloc one needs no checking.
New here?
Murlocs are fish-people who live on beaches, make a gargling noise and arrive in groups. Every new player meets them, and nobody enjoys it.
